Dr. Martin M. Matzuk from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas will present a conference entitled ‘ Function and dysfunction in the mammalian reproductive tract’ at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in St-Hyacinthe on October 16th at noon in room 2115. For the first time, this conference will be live on the internet. The link to join the online conference  will be sent to you by e-mail on Thursday.

Workshop on transcriptome analysis

The three day workshop will be presented by the RQR and EmbryoGene on November 2nd to 4th at the Université Laval. The program is available on the RQR website. The workshop is limited to 15 inscriptions. Scholarships are available to reimburse the travel expenses of the attending students.

The 2009 RQR Symposium will take place on November 17th and 18th at the Delta Centre-Ville in Montréal. The revised program is available on the RQR website. You will have until this Friday October 16th to register, send your abstract and reserve your hotel room. Complete the registration  form and return it to eliane.auger@umontreal.ca along with your completed abstract form. For additional information on the Symposium, visit the RQR website.

The RQR CREATE scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to the best candidates at the start of or during a master, doctoral or postdoctoral degree in the field of reproductive biology. The details of the fall competition are available on the RQR website. The application deadline is November 13th.
