The RQR CREATE scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to the best candidates at the beginning of or during a master, doctoral or postdoctoral training in the field of reproductive biology. The details of the fall competition are available on the RQR website. The application deadline is November 13th.

RQR CREATE Scholarships

The 2009 RQR Symposium is approaching quickly. Nearly 220 students, researchers and research professionals will be attending. There will be 63 posters and 13 oral presentations in addition to the three invited speakers. Unfortunately, guest speaker Asgi Fazleabas will not be able to join us. He will be replaced by Dr Randall Armant from Wayne State University and the National Institutes of Health. The modified program is available on the web site.

You can to take advantage of the symposium to meet your collaborators or to discuss possible future collaborations. Reserve a time frame in one of our conference rooms by sending your information to eliane.auger@umontreal.ca.

November Seminars

Numerous seminars will take place in November at the RQR. Consult the events calendar on the RQR web site to know the dates of the upcoming seminars, of the other RQR activities and of the deadlines of RQR competitions.  If you wish to add any events to the calendar, write to eliane.auger@umontreal.ca.

Workshop on transcriptome analysis

The three day workshop presented by the RQR and EmbryoGene on November 2nd to 4th at the Université Laval was a great success and highly appreciated by the 15 attendees. The workshop comprised of conference session and practical sessions in the laboratory. We thank all the organisers and speakers.
