The `Spermatogenesis and Staging the Cycle of the Seminiferous Epithelium of mouse, rat and man workshop presented by the RQR at the University McGill on April 14th and 15th was a success. Congratulations to the presenters; Drs. Carlos Morales from McGill University, Richard Oko from Queens University and Louis Hermo from McGill University. Here is a comment from a participant:

Thank you so much for your efforts in providing us with such a great course on seminiferous epithelium staging last week in Montreal.  I believe that the course was very helpful to all of us, despite our diverse backgrounds.  For instance, although I am well aware of the theories, I enjoyed the opportunity to actually read the slides myself.  In contrast, my research professional is a biochemist with no background in reproductive biology, and he still felt the training was very accessible and helpful.  This training has given us a few ideas to go back and look at some of the samples we have stored as well as to incorporate staging into future work.  Janice Bailey, Université Laval
