News from the RQR for 2012

After a year of maternity leave, Eliane Auger, our network manager is returning to her post. We wish her a warm welcome. We also thank Julie Blouin for her excellent work as interim manager over the last year, but this is not a goodbye!

During the process of renewal of the RQR grant by the FQRNT, it became clear that we must increase the activity and visibility of the RQR, in the area of knowledge and technology transfer.  To address this issue, Julie has agreed to stay with the network as the knowledge and technology transfer agent. Eliane and Julie will therefore work together to ensure the achievement of our objectives for 2012, to develop new projects and to seek new sources of funding.  We are convinced that the coming years will be promising for the RQR!

Welcome to the new students!

With a new year, many new students have joined the RQR. We would like to take this opportunity to ensure that our mailing list is up to date. If there are new students or employees in your lab, ask them whether they receive the RQR Bulletin. If not, they can join our mailing list by sending their e-mail address to j.blouin@umontreal.ca. The mailing list is also used to send invitations to the RQR Symposium and to other RQR activities. You can also stay connected by following us on Facebook and Twitter!
