Frontiers in Reproduction (FIR)

FIR is an intensive 6 week laboratory and lecture course for scientists-in-training who seek to improve their knowledge and experimental skills in order to pursue a career in the Reproductive Sciences. FIR is held each summer at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, a world-famous training ground for Experimental Biologists. Twenty participants are selected each year from a competitive admissions pool.

The RQR offers 2000$ scholarships to RQR trainees selected by the FIR program. If selected by the FIR program, please contact Eliane Auger at to obtain the scholarship information.

Good luck to all RQR trainnees!

As the international internship program of the FQRNT is coming to an end, the rules have become less strict. Indeed, the RQR can now submit an unlimited number of applications for students enrolled at a university in Québec. Regarding students enrolled in a university outside Quebec, who wish to do an internship in the RQR, applications are also accepted to a limit of 25% of the total.

The internship must begin no later than March 31st, 2013.
