2013 RQR Symposium in Saint-Hyacinthe

FRQNT-RQR International Internships

We are delighted to inform you that the 6th Symposium of the Réseau Québécois en reproduction will take place on November 12 and 13 2013 at the Centre des arts Juliette-Lassonde. The art center is located in downtown Saint-Hyacinthe near great restaurants, boutiques and the public market. The scientific committee is preparing an exciting program!

Pre-symposium Workshop

 

The pre-symposium workshop will be on the biology of
reproduction in industrial settings. The workshop will include visit to local industries.

 

When: November 11th 2013

The international internships of the Fonds Nature et
Technologies aim to foster the international mobility of Master's and PhD students whose research activities are part of the scientific program of a strategic cluster. The internship is a supplementary tool available to a strategic group to strengthen its position at the international level through research projects and partnerships previously established or which are under development.

 

Conditions

Value of scholarship: 2500$/month (max. 15 000$)

Length of internship: 2 to 12 months

Internship must begin no later than march 31st 2014

Country or region visited:

France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States,
Mexico, Brazil, China, Japan, India, Italy,
Wallonia – Brussels, Flanders, Israel, Catalonia

 

Eligibility

This program is for M.Sc and Ph.D trainees. The research outlined in the application as part of the internship must fall within the program or research priorities of the RQR.

Note that rooms are reserved for the RQR at the Holiday Inn Express & suite at a rate of 119$ per night, breakfast included.

To submit an application, the student must (with the help of his/her research director):

 

· Identify an internship

· Complete the application form

· Submit his/her grade transcripts

· Submit his/her resume

· Submit a letter showing the approval of the
director of the receiving laboratory

· Meet all the eligibility requirements of the program

· Be part of the Réseau Québécois en reproduction
