Resume of results:

Our group has shown that DNA damage in nuclear donor cells is an important component affecting embryo cleavage kinetics and development to the blastocyst stage. We have also shown that treatment with histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi) after nuclear transfer enhances DNA double-stranded breaks (DSBs) repair and development of SCNT embryos.
