INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OF THE FONDS NATURE ET TECHNOLOGIES WITH THE RÉSEAU QUÉBÉCOIS EN REPRODUCTION

The international internships of the Fonds Nature et Technologies aim to foster the international mobility of Master's and PhD students whose research activities are part of the scientific program of a strategic cluster. The internship is a supplementary tool available to a strategic cluster to strengthen its position at the international level through research projects and partnerships that have already been established or which are under development.

ELIGIBILITY

Students enrolled in an university:

  • In Québec
    • Canadian citizen, permanent resident or foreign student who has a valid study permit for the province of Québec 
    • be registered in a Quebec university in a MSc or PhD program
    • Be a member of the RQR
  • Outside Québec
    • have the valid study permits or visa for the entire duration of the internship
    • be registered in a university outside of Québec
    • no be registered in cotutelle in a Québec university
    • complete the internship within the RQR

CONDITIONS

  • Value of scholarship (living expenses): $2,500/month (max. $15,000) - supporting documents required in the budget
  • Length of internship: 2 to 6 months
  • Internship must begin no later than March 31st 2018
  • Location of the internship: The internship must take place outside Quebec for students enrolled in a Quebec university or Quebec for students from abroad.  

The research outlined in the application as part of the internship must fall within the program or research priorities of the RQR.

TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE RQR, the student must (with the help of his/her research director):

  • Identify an internship
  • Complete the application form
  • Submit his/her grade transcripts
  • Submit his/her resume 
  • Submit a short letter showing the approval of the director of the receiving laboratory 
  • Meet all the eligibility requirements of the program 
  • The research supervisor should be part of the Réseau Québécois en reproduction
