Real-time PCR workshop by Bio-Rad

The RQR is pleased to announce that a training workshop organized jointly with Bio-Rad on the real-time PCR will take place on Friday, December 8th in St-Hyacinthe at the Faculté of veterinary medicine from 10am to 4pm in room 2135. The workshop will be given mainly in English and the dinner will be offered by the RQR. For practical reasons, the number of participants will be limited to 20 people.

ICSI Workshop

We are pleased to announce the RQR workshop entitled "Introduction to Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection" to be held at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015. Participants will learn about the history and current application of ICSI, including its advantages and limitations. Practical work will include handling germ cells and the procedures involved in ICSI. This course is intended to provide an introduction to the ICSI technique and is appropriate for those interested in assisted reproduction, techniques used in germ cell and embryo research, or the ICSI procedure specifically. 

We can accommodate up to 6 participants. Please note that a second workshop may be held on Saturday, October 10th 2015 depending on the number of registrations (to be confirmed). To apply, please complete the registration form

From researchers to end users: The next step - December 1st 2014

As part of the RQR Knowledge Translation Workshop Series, the RQR announces its second workshop entitled "From researchers to end users: The next step". 

Eight guest speakers will address Tech Transfer and knowledge mobilization according to their personal experiences. See Program. Dr. Frédéric Leduc, past RQR trainee now director and founder of Immune BioSolutions, and Dr. Janice L. Bailey, chair of the RQR Knowledge Transfer committee, will lead the discussions. 

The event will take place on Monday December 1 at the Longueuil Campus of the Université de Sherbrooke (located at the Longueuil metro) room L1-5680.
